Tracing one usage event from the Codex adapter to the meter, with yesterday's session replayed from its event log.
Found it. Codex reports usage as a running total for the session, and the meter added every event as a delta. It has to keep the latest total, not the sum.
Yesterday's session now reads 118,204 tokens against the dashboard's 118k. I added a fixture so this exact shape stays covered.
